1.General information
1.1The following general trading conditions apply to all Golf Worldwide’s contracts and other communications. We do not accept any deviation from the regulations we impose on the contracting party. All special agreements require a written confirmation on our part. This applies also to the written termination of a contract. Golf Worldwide can change or supplement these general trading conditions, including all possible advice, at any time without prior warning or notice. Any new terms and conditions will apply to both new and current members. Members rejoining will do so under the terms and conditions applicable at the time of rejoining.
2.Benefits
2.1Golf Worldwide offers club memberships from international golf clubs. The golf clubs represented by Golf Worldwide are members of national golf federations. The trading conditions of the mediating golf club apply. The offers are not binding. The above specification loses its validity with the appearance of any new offer.
3.Termination of a contract
3.1Once a customer applies for membership, they enter into an incontrovertible contractual agreement with Golf Worldwide. The application can take place on the internet (online) or in writing by post or fax and contains an acknowledgment of the general trading conditions. The contract is confirmed by Golf Worldwide. This takes place online by e-mail or, at the latest, with the forwarding of the membership card. Golf Worldwide reserves the right to terminate the contract for any reason based on the customer’s character or situation, without having to state that reason.
4.Prices, postage and handling, payment
4.1All prices include postage and handling.
4.2Worldwide delivers memberships only on receipt of payment.
5.Delivery times
5.1Once a customer has applied for membership, their membership card will arrive on average two weeks after payment.
6.Price and service changes
6.1Golf Worldwide reserves the right to make changes to the services and prices the customer has observed, as advertised by Golf Worldwide, before confirmation is given by Golf Worldwide. Any changes and deviations to individual services agreed upon in the contents of the contract, which are necessary after the conclusion of a contract by the customer and are not due to Golf Worldwide, which has acted in good faith, are permitted as far as they are not substantial and do not materially impair the total service. Golf Worldwide will give notice of changes where it deems reasonable or necessary to do so. Golf Worldwide warrants that the membership services will be provided using reasonable care and skill. Golf Worldwide does not warrant that their provision, including the operation of the handicap tracking, will be uninterrupted or error-free. Golf Worldwide will not be liable for any delay or failure to carry out our responsibilities under these terms for reasons beyond its reasonable control.
7.Cancellation by a customer
7.1The customer can cancel their application for membership within 7 days of applying. The cancellation must be in writing, and be received by Golf Worldwide within 7 days. The customer will incur a cancellation charge of 30 Euro. With any cancellation received after 7 days, no refund of the membership fee, or any part thereof, will be made.

8.Annual termination notice by customer
8.11 Memberships are automatically renewed annually unless customers give notice as follows. The customer can terminate the renewal of their membership without indication of any reason. The termination notice must take place in writing and reach Golf Worldwide before or, at the latest, on 31 December of the year in which their membership began or was last renewed. Otherwise the membership extends automatically by a further year.
9.Resignation or notice by Golf Worldwide
9.1Golf Worldwide reserves the right to terminate the contract without reason or notice.
9.22 In the event of contract termination by Golf Worldwide the membership fee is returned to the customer at a rate of 1/12 of the annuity for each full remaining month until and including March of the following year, if no alternative golf club membership can be offered.
10.Obligation to co-operate
10.1The customer agrees to show courtesy on the golf course by observing golf etiquette and to abide by the general rules of golf and, as a guest player, observe the specific rules of any club they visit.
11.Handicap tracking
11.1transmission of a player’s score-card, completed to Golf Worldwide’s requirements by e-mail (handicap@golfworldwide.de), or by post (Handicap, PO Box 8639, Auckland, New Zealand), their handicap will be updated.
12.Data protection
12.1Golf Worldwide uses the data communicated by the customer - such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, handicap and bank account - only for assessing and processing their application, administration purposes and to update them with information or offer them other Golf Worldwide services from time to time. Data are not passed on to any third party unless required by law.
13.Applicability of individual regulations
13.1The applicability of individual regulations of these general trading conditions does not effect the application of the other relevant laws or regulations.
14.Area of jurisdiction
14.1The area of jurisdiction is Reutlingen, Germany. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws operating in that jurisdiction
